The find and fix method involves utilizing smoke testing to highlight sources of inflow quickly, many of which can be dealt with while the test is taking place. More often than not a simple broken or missing cleanout can be a large source of stormwater inflow. We also use a combination of dye water flooding and CCTV inspections to determine the best method for removing or otherwise fixing the source of stormwater inflow.
The result of smoke testing is often a rapid and inexpensive reduction of potential system overflows in the future. When an issue is located which cannot be addressed immediately, a survey of the needed repairs is done by CCTV inspection, to determine an effective solution to mitigate the issue.
